Hello there, i found in my old old hardware a Amilo V3515 with a T7200 CPU dual 2core 2ghz that is recognised as intel xeon and 2 gb 800mhz of ram so i try to install snow leopard 10.6.3 from the purchased DVD from the macstore using the guide 10.6 installations here on tonymac. So far i got it running as a mac pro 3.1 with Sound output working input is still death, no kext installed yet. Grafik is working so far i can see it, the USB is only 1.1 (12mbit/sec) witch make it slow to backup and restore updatet from 10.6.3 to 10.6.4 to 10.6.5 to 10.6.6 to 10.6.7 and untill here all works just fine exept some freeze whe i plug in a USB stick that is formatet in fat32 when the usb stick is plugged befor boot it work fine.
But it wont update to 10.6.8 no matter how i try different multibeast the updatehelper, the -x option in safe mode. 
As i made a backup afther each update i get it back running over night. I found out that you can install 10.8 mountain lion on Amilo so i purchase it at mac store 21€ but cant dl it as i dont have a running mac. Any suggestions?
