And maybe get some other 'extra' books for it, like this one off of Amazon for only $9 If you actually have the stuff, you are supposed to have and kind of 'made' for it, and you still can't figure it out, then I think you can take the machine, and any books you have, probably to any sewing machine place, and they could probably sit with you, like one to one, for an hour or two and even sew with you and show you how to use something. If you did not buy it there though, in order to get that kind of 'personal service' on anything, I think you would most times have to pay them something between $50 and $100, or at least offer them some money or maybe buy some other stuff they sold, while you were there probably. But, it's probably worth it, if you really need it, and if it would get you going on it much better. Also look for the 'old' printed on paper Jamome sewing magazines they used to sell. Just since whatever year the machine was made in, there was probably lots of stuff just for it in there even. Also, check more sewing and embroidery kind of magazines, from the year it came out even. Like old Martha Pullen, Sew Beautiful magazines from the same time period, would probably have lots of stuff with step by step directions for doing particular projects.
